- As his debut album "Weekend Rockstar" draws near, British rapper Feng has been throwing spontaneous house parties around New York and Los Angeles to give fans a taste of what's in store. The 19-year-old self-taught producer, known for his distinctive pink poodle sneakers and overwhelmingly optimistic lyricism, has been using a randomization feature on his website to select the guest lists for the parties, which he describes as a "melting pot of just amazing people." Before one of Feng's ragers got started, journalist Julian Ribeiro sat down with the rising star to discuss the energy of the house parties, Feng's journey from a nine-to-five office job to becoming one of the UK's best new rappers, and the inspiration behind his highly anticipated debut album.
